Showtime Renews Weeds For Season 8

After extended discussions with Lionsgate, Showtime has closed a deal with an eighth season of comedy Weeds. Production round the 13-episode eighth season will start next season for just about any 2012 launch. Weeds, created by Jenji Kohan, might be a long-running series on Showtime as well as the most seen comedy.
